Happy January,

The start a new year makes anything feel possible ✨. Or, we think it should. But if you're feeling a bit tenuous in this first full week of 2026 . . . you're not alone.

All the possibilities, all the newness can be a bit hard to grasp. We begin from a place of newness, and we're already feeling behind.

If you've been following our most recent posts, you know I advocate for 🌿 Renewal, Not Resolutions. Resolutions are too hard. They tend to fizzle, and we often end up worse off than where we started.

My motto? Start small, not large. Maybe start with lunch.

I struggle with lunch. When I work on-site, when I don't. When I'm busy, when I'm not. What sounds good, what's relatively healthy, what requires no prep. I choose this.

Of course, there is some prep. But it can be Sunday afternoon prep, Tuesday night prep, whenever. And boom. You've got a great, πŸ₯— healthy lunch, for days.

This one, simple thing is making me πŸ˜‹ happy this week. It's making me feel like I'm turning over a beautiful new leaf. It's making me feel successful, not overwhelmed. Why not give it a try?

It doesn't need to be lunch. Choose your own 🌱 small thing.

You may be surprised at how much this lifts you during this cold, ❄️ dreary month.

✨ TRY THIS FIRST . . .

Choose your own one small thing. Make it doable. Then do it.

It doesn't need to be lunch. But it's a place to start.
