The Moment I Knew It Was Time . . .

THIS ON THURSDAY

Hi Reader,

My balcony lettuce bolted about two weeks ago. Gone bitter, gone to seed, done. I let it sit there longer than I should have, half hoping it would settle back down if I just left it alone.

It didn't. It never does. And this week I finally pulled it, container by container, to make room for what actually grows in fall.

That's the whole Fall Reset framework, honestly. Gather what the season actually gave you. Release what's bolted, even if it worked all summer. Tend to the one or two things that deserve the space you just cleared. Then, and only then, plant something new, on purpose.

Most of us skip straight to Plant. New goal, new routine, new whatever, without ever clearing the bolted thing first. It's why the fresh start so often doesn't stick, there wasn't actually room for it yet.

Last week I sent along the free Fall Reset guide. If you grabbed a copy, thank you, and if you have not gotten to it yet, it is still there waiting.

If you want to go further

The free guide gives you the shape of the four-part framework. The Fall Reset Experience is where you actually work through it, at your own pace, with real prompts instead of just ideas to think about.

It includes:

πŸ‚ A 55-page guided workbook, one section for each part of Gather, Release, Tend, and Plant

πŸ‚ Six audio tracks you can listen to on a walk or while making dinner, for the days a blank page is too much

πŸ‚ Space to actually finish something this season, instead of thinking about it and moving on

It is $47, built for anyone who is ready to stop propping up what's already bolted.

I already know what's going into those containers next: mums. They're colorful, hardy, and they bridge that time till the snow flies.

I hope you find your own version of mums this week, whatever that looks like for you.

See you next Thursday.

🩷 Warmly, Susan
